Jose Mourinho responded to Arsene Wenger's criticism of removing two Madrid footballers from the field by rhetorically asking what trophies the French manager of London's team managed to win in recent years.
The Spanish club was at the center of attention after in a Champions League match against Ajax with the score at 4-0, Xabi Alonso and Sergio Ramos seemingly received yellow cards and were sent off the field as if intentionally. This was allegedly done so that the Spanish players would not face disqualification in the knockout stages.
Wenger called this situation "dreadful," and Mourinho, not indifferent, told "The Sun": "He should somehow explain to 'Arsenal' fans why since 2005 he has not managed to win a single title."
Instead of talking about "Real," he should pay more attention to the "Arsenal" team, which lost to Champions League debutants.
Mourinho also claimed that the myth about the young "Arsenal" team must be refuted: "This story is old. Bacary Sagna, Gael Clichy, Theo Walcott, Cesc Fabregas, Alex Song, Samir Nasri, Robin van Persie, Andrey Arshavin are not children. They are top-level footballers."
