In the Italian "Serie A" championship on Sunday seven matches were played. Additionally, the match between "Bologna" and Verona's "Chievo" teams was postponed due to severe fog.
The opportunity to catch up with the leader "Milan" was not taken by Rome's "Lazio" club, who only managed a 1-1 draw at home against "Catania".
The visitors even took the lead, when at the end of the first half Matias Silvestre headed the ball into the net, but Hernanes equalized before halftime.
"Lazio" remained in second place after the draw, trailing "Milan" by three points, as Milan's "Inter" broke through a rough patch with a 5-2 victory over "Parma" at home.
The start of the match did not promise anything good for Rafael Benitez's pupils - in the 4th minute "Parma" forward Hernan Crespo scored, but Dejan Stankovic, who scored twice between the 17th and 22nd minutes, and Esteban Cambiasso once, turned the game in Inter's favor.
Crespo reduced the gap before halftime, but Thiago Motta and Stankovic secured the victory after the break.
