On Tuesday, the first two matches of the country's League Cup ("Carling Cup") quarterfinal tournament were played in English stadiums.
This season, the first defeat was experienced and the team playing without the main lineup of players, "Man Utd," were eliminated from further contention for the trophy after losing 4-0 to London's "West Ham" away.
In the next match, London's "Arsenal" defeated "Wigan" 2-0 in front of their own fans.
Two more quarterfinal matches will take place tomorrow.
