The Italian Football Federation partially satisfied the appeal of the Milan club, but the forward Samuel Eto'o will still be suspended for three matches. The country's champions sought to soften the punishment that the Cameroonian received for hitting Verona's "Chievo" goalkeeper Cesar on the head. The appeal rejected the possibility of reducing the number of matches, but allowed Eto'o not to pay a 30 thousand euro fine.
