IFA does not consider the possibility of holding the 2022 World Cup in Qatar in winter, instead of the usual June.

A few days ago, there were talks that the tournament could be postponed, as the summer temperatures in Qatar often exceed 40 degrees Celsius.

"Certain people, like Franz Beckenbauer, mentioned the possibility of organizing the championship in winter," said FIFA general secretary Jerome Valcke. "However, the tournament is scheduled for June and countries have already adapted to that."

The international football match calendar is set until 2014, and no changes will be made at least until then.

Qatar has promised that special climate control systems will help overcome the heat in the stadiums, ensuring temperatures ranging from 20 to 27 degrees on the pitch and in the stands.
