Carlos Tevez is asking fans for patience, stating that a powerful club cannot be built in just one night.
After the English team was acquired by Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed al Nahyan, hundreds of millions are being spent on strengthening the team, but ambitious goals are not always met.
"Three years ago, Manchester City was a team that finished the season in the bottom half of the table," the Argentine said. "Now we are fighting for a place in the top four and we want to become a great club.
This shows how much we have grown in recent years. But people need to remain patient. You cannot become a great club overnight. Every coach and player needs an adaptation period, there are many factors, so we need to fight and move forward."
