Madrid strategist Jose Mourinho would like to acquire Inter Milan's forward Samuel Eto'o this winter, according to the Spanish press.
El Mundo Deportivo reports that Mourinho is considering replacing Gonzalo Higuain, who is out of the lineup until the end of January due to a back injury.
It is said that Mourinho, who previously spoke about not wanting to strengthen the team, has now identified Eto'o as the main target.
However, the likelihood of the deal happening is considered very slim - Inter is not willing to part ways with one of the club's leaders.
