Player Ronaldinho, who was whistled by his own fans during Wednesday's Champions League match against Amsterdam's "Ajax", insists that he wants to stay in the club.
The 30-year-old Brazilian has rarely been included in the starting lineup lately, but when given the chance to perform, he did not disappoint. Fans did not fail to notice this and did not hide their dissatisfaction.
Ronaldinho's current contract expires at the end of the season, and negotiations for its extension are currently not taking place.
"I am happy because I was able to play the full 90 minutes," said the Brazilian. "I desire to help the team as much as possible.
"I am calm about my future. I know I can play well, I have great respect for my team mates. We are winning, so I cannot complain to anyone. Of course, I will work hard and hope to spend more time on the field."
It is rumored that the footballer is interested in the Brazilian club "Palmeiras" as well as English "Liverpool".
