Italian Serie A football players have canceled a strike planned for the weekend.
The country's players' association (AIC) has finally reached an agreement with representatives of the Serie A league regarding a new collective agreement. Although it will be signed only next week, drastic measures will no longer be taken.
Under the new agreement, players will retain the option to refuse to transfer to another club by their own decision.
