Carlos Tevez has confirmed that he will leave the team, and one of the reasons for this is the irreparably damaged relationship with some of the club's leaders.
The Manchester team rejected Tevez's official request to be included in the list of players for sale. The Argentine complained that he had grown tired of living in England and wanted to return to his homeland, where his family is waiting for him.
"I have been thinking about it for a while - I carefully considered and weighed all the options," said Tevez. "I was very upset by talks that the decision was influenced by others. I wanted to leave last summer, but I was convinced to come back. Unfortunately, the feelings have not changed.
"The relationships with some of the club's leaders and individuals are damaged and cannot be fixed. I do not want to talk about it anymore. They know everything themselves because I told them directly," he added.
Tevez, who is the highest-paid player at "Man City," still has a contract valid for another two and a half years.
This season, in 24 matches in all tournaments, the Argentine scored 10 goals and is one of the team's leaders. He also denied rumors that he does not agree with head coach Roberto Mancini.
