Ignoring Carlos Tevez's desire to leave the club, BBC announces.
The Argentine publicly stated that he no longer wants to play in Manchester and handed in a formal request to be included in the list of players up for sale.
However, by the decision of the club's chairman Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Tevez's wish will not be granted - he will not be sold.
If the striker refuses to play or ends his career, "Man City" will seek compensation for breach of contract.
Tevez's contract is supposed to be valid for another two and a half years. Its value amounts to several tens of million pounds sterling.
