After England's "Premier" League match against London's "Chelsea" team on Sunday, head coach Sir Alex Ferguson will have surpassed the record of legendary strategist Sir Matt Busby.
In 1986, the Scottish manager, who moved from "Aberdeen" to Manchester, has been leading one of England's most successful clubs for 24 years, one month and 14 days.
"I never imagined I could surpass Sir Matt," said Ferguson. "When I arrived here, my main goal was to win the league.
Fortunately, Sir Matt and Bobby Charlton worked at the club, understanding my ambitions. Their philosophy was similar to mine - integrating young players into the team and working with the player development system.
A great example of how a club should be managed is Bayern Munich. Many former players work there, understanding the team's history and knowing what it takes to keep the club stable.
I think that is the most important thing. I am happy that our club is just like that."
