In the last 2010 FIFA world national team ranking, Spain still holds the top spot, while Lithuania is at 55th place. Our national team, compared to November, lost 44 ranking points and dropped nine positions. The planet's champions, Spain, continue to lead, followed by vice champions the Netherlands. Germany is in third place, surpassing Brazil, with Argentina in fifth, followed by England, Uruguay, Portugal, Egypt, and Croatia. Only in 14th place is the 2006 World Cup champion Italy. Our Lithuanian rivals in the European Championship qualifiers, the Czech Republic, rose to 30th place from 31st, Scotland jumped two spots to 52nd, and Liechtenstein climbed from 158th to 148th. The biggest leap in the month was made by Cuba - moving up 32 positions to now rank 62nd. The biggest drop was for Guyana, losing 23 spots and now occupying 109th place.
