The best French football player of 2010 was recognized as London's midfielder Samir Nasri.

In the elections organized by the sports magazine "France Football," 23-year-old Nasri outstripped Chelsea's midfielder Florent Malouda and Lyon's goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.

Interestingly, Nasri did not make it to the French national team during the World Cup held in the summer.
