Reschedule four Saturday English Championship matches (UPDATED) © EuroFootball.com

The cold and blisters that hit Great Britain affected the football schedule - already four matches scheduled to take place on Saturday in the English "Premier" league have been postponed.

Liverpool fans won't see the scheduled matches, as they were supposed to host Fulham from London, and Wigan, who were supposed to wrestle Aston Villa from Birmingham at home. The match between Birmingham and Newcastle won't take place either.

It later became clear that the next day, Arsenal and Stoke footballers will also have to take to the field.

In Liverpool, it was found that the condition of the pitch would allow the match to take place, but after consulting with the police it was decided to postpone them, as the conditions around the stadium would pose a danger to the spectators.

Meanwhile, in Wigan, 25 centimeters of snow fell overnight, so public transport is not running, causing traffic jams.
