In the Italian Serie A league on Saturday, two matches were played.
Roma managed to halt the speeding Milan team's journey towards the Italian champions' title by defeating the league leaders on their own field with a minimum score of 1-0.
This was the first failure for the Milan team in their last eight matches.
The only goal was scored in the 69th minute by forward Marko Borriello under strange circumstances.
This stumble of Massimiliano Allegri's pupils means that the Turin "Juventus" and "Napoli" clubs, who won their round matches, could reduce the gap to three points. Meanwhile, Roma temporarily moved up to fifth place in the standings.
