The new sports director of the Madrid club, Arrigo Sacchis, intends to attract two young football players to his team this January. The young defender Philipp Lahm and defensive midfielder are in the sights of the Italian.
21-year-old P. Lahm is already being called up to represent the German national team and is one of its main defenders. A. Sacchis has been observing the player for several years and hopes that this left-back can replace the aging Roberto Carlos in the future.
