Italian "Serie A" championship on Sunday featured six matches.

Rome's "Lazio" club achieved an important victory at home after a dramatic battle, defeating "Udinese" 3-2.

At the end of the match, Cristian Zapata scored an own goal, allowing the capital team to reduce the gap from the leader "Milan" who stumbled on Saturday to two points.

"Lazio" took the lead twice, but Hernanes at the beginning and Giuseppe Biava in the second half were matched by Alexis Sanchez and Gustavo Denis.

Turin's "Juventus" team dropped two important points, letting go of the victory in the last moments in the match against Verona's "Chievo" - 1-1.

The hosts missed a penalty in the beginning of the match, while "Juventus" took the lead in the 30th minute with a spectacular goal by Fabio Quagliarella.

However, in the second half, young Turin team defender Manuel Giandonato was sent off the field, and the visiting team had to defend against "Chievo" attacks with one player less.

They managed to do so successfully until the end of additional time, but then forward Sergio Pellissier scored the equalizer.
