Rafael Benitez's future at the Milan club hangs by a thread - rumors persist that the Spaniard has already been relieved of his duties.
Although this news has not been officially confirmed, BBC correspondent Simon Austin states that Benitez has already returned home to Liverpool.
It should be noted that earlier "Gazzetta dello Sport" reported that Inter president Massimo Moratti was dissatisfied with Benitez's comments after a victory in the club World Cup tournament, so he terminated the contract and will look to lure Zenit St. Petersburg's coach Luciano Spalletti.
