Rafael Benitez denied rumors that he was fired from his position as head coach of AC Milan.
In an interview with the Spanish radio station "Onda Cero," the specialist said: "I was not fired. I am surprised because I have seen many such reports and received many calls with questions. But this is complete nonsense."
However, Benitez's future remains unclear as the president of Inter refused to confirm if he will stay in his position.
The team led by the Spaniard won the Club World Cup over the weekend, but they are currently in 7th place in the Italian championship.
