The general manager of Juventus, Beppe Marotta, cautiously speaks about strengthening the team during the winter transfer window, but promises that newcomers will not be skimped on money in the summer.
In an interview with "Gazzetta dello Sport," Marotta said: "Our main goal is to return to the elite of international football. However, the local front is also equally important - both the league and the country's cup tournament."
When asked about plans for the month of January, one of the Juventus executives stated: "First, we have to evaluate which players cannot play due to injuries, and only then will we decide what to do. We will take action only when there is an opportunity to strengthen the team with capable players, as there is no need to disrupt the balance where everything is going well.
"It should be added that this transfer market period is not ideal for long-term investments, which we will make in the summer. Then we promise to achieve a lot."
