Leaving the Milan club, coach Rafael Benitez thanked everyone for their work and reassured that the separation happened in a friendly manner.
After just six months of leading the team, the Spanish coach's contract was terminated by mutual agreement.
"I want to thank everyone for their support during my time in Milan," said Benitez. "On behalf of myself and my assistants, I would like to thank the players, staff, and fans."
