The managing director Dieter Hoeness refused to comment on rumors that the team's striker Edin Dzeko will soon move to the club.
According to "Sky Sports," negotiations are well advanced, as the English are willing to pay 30 million euros, plus an additional 4.3 million if they reach the next season's Champions League tournament.
"As always, approaching the transfer window there are many talks and rumors. "Wolfsburg" has no intention of commenting on individual reports," said Hoeness. "Dzeko is a player of the club with a valid contract."
