Glazgo team acquired Belgian defender Thom Buffel from Dutch team "Feyenoord" for 2.5 million pounds (more than 12 million litas).
The Belgian, who will celebrate his 24th birthday in February, signed a contract with the club for four and a half years.
"I am very happy to join such a great club," Buffel said. "Even though I haven't played for a few weeks, I feel strong and ready for Saturday's cup match."
Buffel also competed with Lisbon and teams for Glasgow team.
