Safeguard Anderson revealed that head coach Sir Alex Ferguson had a huge impact on his football career.
According to the Brazilian, the specialist from Scotland made him believe in his abilities again after the player recovered from a serious injury.
"Ferguson helped me from the very first days," said Anderson. "He supported me in both the better and worse moments of my career. Many times the coach didn't like what I was doing on the field, but it only gave me an additional stimulus."
