Strategist Roy Hodgson has refused to discuss his future after another defeat in the English championship.
Managed by the British "Reds," they have won only seven matches out of 20 in the Premier League and currently occupy a modest position in the middle of the table.
Over the weekend, there were reports that the club owners are looking for a new coach, and these rumors will only be fueled by the 1-3 loss to Blackburn.
“I am not ready to talk about it because I am very disappointed with our game and the result,” said the 63-year-old coach. “I have nothing to comment on, and I am not inclined to answer any questions about it.”
Hodgson also stated: “I am disappointed for the fans who supported us well. In the second half, we were able to recover a bit, and if Steven Gerrard had scored the penalty kick, we might have achieved something.”
And he added: “Unfortunately, when Liverpool loses to Blackburn, there is nothing positive to say.”
