On Wednesday, the remaining five matches of the country's Cup tournament ("Copa del Rey") were played in Spanish stadiums in the round of 16 second leg matches.

After a goalless draw at the "Mestalla" stadium, Valencia took the lead away against Villarreal with a 2-0 scoreline in the first half, but conceded four goals in the remaining 45 minutes and exited the competition for the trophy.

In this match, it was not an easy game for the Lithuanian representing the "bats," Marius Stankevicius, whose mistake led to a penalty kick for the visitors.

In the other match, the second squad of Real Madrid suffered a 2-0 defeat away against Levante from Valencia, but advanced to the next round as two weeks ago the "royal" club had crushed their opponents today with an 8-0 scoreline.

The first quarter-final matches will be played in a week.
