The head coach Sir Alex Ferguson hopes that at least two out of three players - Edwin van der Sar, Rio Ferdinand, and Wayne Rooney - will be able to play in the FA Cup match against "Liverpool".

Ronaldo injured his shin on New Year's Day in a match against "W.B.A.", while Ferdinand was given a rest before the match against "Stoke" due to a tight schedule.

Van der Sar suffered a calf injury and also had the flu, so in the last two games, his place in goal was taken by the Polish player Tomasz Kuszczak.

"We are somewhat concerned about this trio," the coach said. "We hope that at least two of them will be able to stand on their feet for Sunday's match."
