The official website of Real Madrid club reported that defender Pepe will not be able to play for approximately four weeks due to injury.
The footballer tore a muscle in his left calf during yesterday's King's Cup tournament ("Copa del Rey") second leg match against Valencia's "Levante" team.
The 27-year-old member of the Portuguese national team will miss matches in the Spanish "Liga BBVA" against "Villarreal", "Almeria", "Mallorca", and Pamplona's "Osasuna".
It is expected that Pepe will be back on the field at the beginning of February, in the match against San Sebastian's "Sociedad" team.
