The discipline committee of the Italian Football Federation has disqualified Turin's defensive midfielder Felipe Melo for three "Serie A" championship matches.
In yesterday's match between the teams of "Juventus" and "Parma," the Brazilian player was unlawfully knocked down and, enraged by the foul, thrust his head into the opponent. The referee immediately showed the footballer a red card.
Melo will have to miss matches against the clubs "Napoli," "Bari," and Genoa's "Sampdoria."
