AC Milan's technical director Marco Branca predicts that Andrea Ranocchia was the last acquisition of the club during the winter transfer window.

The young footballer arrived from the Genoa team and is expected to replace the injured Walter Samuel.

"We believe that we are a competitive enough team," Branca said. "We hope we won't need to buy anything else."

It was rumored that Inter was looking for a new striker, but one of the club officials denied this.

"We have Samuel Eto'o, Diego Milito, and Goran Pandev. In addition, defenders also help in the attack," explained Branca.
