Dalglish: it's a great honor to coach "Liverpool" again © EuroFootball.com

Kenny Dalglish claims that returning to the helm is a great honor for him.

The legendary team striker, who coached the team from 1985 to 1992 and became "Premier" league champion three times, replaced the dismissed Roy Hodgson.

Dalglish's debut as the appointed coach will take place on Sunday in a crucial FA Cup match away against "Man Utd.

"It is an honor for me to return to this position," said the specialist. "But the circumstances are not grateful, as a great, decent person has lost his job."

Asked if a tough challenge awaits, Dalglish laconically replied, "We will see. I just got off the plane."

In the English championship, "Liverpool" is only in 12th place and continues to fight in the Europa League tournament. In the knockout stages, the 'Reds' will face Prague's "Sparta."
