The coaching staff has been supplemented by former "Chelsea" and "West Ham" assistant manager Steve Clarke.

The 47-year-old specialist will be the head team coach and will assist Kenny Dalglish.

"He will greatly strengthen our team, so I am glad that we were able to invite him," Dalglish said. "I look forward to starting work."

From 2004 to 2007, Clarke assisted Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho at "Chelsea", and later was an assistant to Gianfranco Zola at "West Ham".
