The general manager of Juventus Beppe Marotta says that the club is looking for a replacement for the injured striker Fabio Quagliarella.
The footballer will not be able to play for about half a year due to a knee injury. Despite the recent addition of Luca Toni to the team, the attacking line is still promised to be further strengthened.
"We would like to find a replacement for Quagliarella," Marotta confirmed. "We will see what options are available in the market."
According to "La Gazzetta dello Sport," the main candidate is Atletico Madrid's Uruguayan Diego Forlan, but the 32-year-old footballer's price and salary of 4.5 million euros per season could be obstacles. However, Juventus would consider the possibility of borrowing him until the end of the season.
Among other names mentioned is Antonio Floro Flores, who represents Udinese.
