This weekend, 32 matches of the French Cup (Coupe de France) were played.
Lithuania's national team striker Edgaras Jankauskas' team achieved a convincing victory, winning 4-0 away against the lower division "Beauvais" team, with Jankauskas scoring the fourth goal in the 90th minute of the match. This was the first Lithuanian goal scored while playing for "Nice".
Other "Ligue 1" teams also won their matches in a convincing fashion - one team won 7-0 against "Seyssinet", another team won 6-1 against "Langueaux", and another team won 4-0 against "St.Dizier".
Currently leading "Ligue 1", the football players took home a 2-0 victory against a lower division team "Viry-Chatillon".
A surprise was recorded at the Marseille "Stade Velodrome" stadium, where they had to admit defeat with a score of 2-3 against the lower league club "Angers".
