Strategist Pep Guardiola insists that he has no intention of leaving the team, but he rejects the possibility of extending his contract.
The 40-year-old specialist, celebrating eight titles in two and a half seasons, does not intend to commit for a longer period than until the end of this season, when his contract expires.
"My contract will still be valid for a long time, let me work calmly," Guardiola said. "The club knows that I will not leave unexpectedly. I just need to consider - the time will come for a decision."
Currently, Barcelona's team is leading the Spanish championship, four points ahead of Madrid's "Real."
