"There is no room for envy among us. We are united because we are more than just members of a team. We are friends," the Argentine said in an interview with "France Football."

Messi himself claims he did not expect to win the "Golden Ball" for best player on the planet for the second year in a row, but acknowledges that he deserved the award just like many great players in the world.
"Xavi is the best player in his position. No one plays like Cristiano Ronaldo does in his position. Each of us has our own strong characteristics and we know how to use them properly," the Argentine reflected.
There is no doubt that Messi, as one of the best players in the world, earns huge amounts of money, but the football player himself did not want to talk about it.
"I don't check my accounts every day. My father takes care of managing money, so he handles that. The greatest pleasure for me is feeling the ball at my feet," Barcelona's club leader smiled.
