The 32-year-old Klose, who is the second highest scorer of all time for the German national team with 58 goals, is losing the competition to fellow countryman Mario Gomez this season.
"I am physically ready, as well as in good sporting form," Klose told "Bild". "I want to be in the starting lineup, because my place is not on the bench."
Last weekend, the striker did not appear on the field in the match against "Wolfsburg".
"I want to prove to the coach that he cannot do without me," added the footballer.
