They acquired Amsterdam football player Urby Emanuelson for 1.7 million euros. The Dutchman, who can play in the positions of left back and midfielder, signed a three and a half year contract.
With Gianluca Zambrotta recovering from an injury and Luca Antonini not showing stable performance, the Milan team was looking for reinforcement in this position.
It was thought that Emanuelson would arrive in Italy in the summer, when his contract with Ajax expires, but it was decided to carry out the deal during the winter transfer window.
