"Roma's attacker Mauro Zarate faces strict sanctions for the conflict that arose at the end of Sunday's match with Bologna.
The football player, who played more than half a game, pushed the assistant referee and, according to Bologna's coach Alberto Malesani, cut the defender Matteo Rubina.
The incident occurred when Zarate threw the ball at Rubina's head, and then got into a scuffle with two opponents. Trying to hit Albin Ekdal, the attacker accidentally hit the referee's assistant on the head, and will be disqualified.
