London strategist Carlo Ancelotti admitted that the club is seeking to acquire Lisbon defender David Luiz.
It is reported that more than 21 million euros were offered for the 23-year-old Brazilian, but the Portuguese team is demanding a much larger sum.
"David is the only footballer we are trying to acquire, but if we fail, nothing will change," said Carlo Ancelotti. "He is a very good young player, but nothing has been agreed yet."
"Benfica" is asking for around 30 million euros for Luiz.
