London finally reached an agreement with Lisbon's "Benfica" and will acquire defender David Luiz for almost 25 million euros, as reported by the BBC.
The English champions have been negotiating for some time for the Brazilian's contract buyout, but a few days ago it seemed that the deal would not go through. However, on the last day, a compromise was reached and Luiz will move to London.
The Portuguese team will also be giving up midfielder Nemanja Matić, who is currently on loan to the "Vitesse" team by "Chelsea".
