In those eyes, an infinite horror, pain, hopelessness, fear of the unknown, and a sense of death are reflected. Every day, animals taken from the streets or brought from homes are brought to the shelter. Young, healthy animals left for destruction can only watch, but in that gaze, there is only one frozen question - why? Those who betrayed and condemned them avoid looking into the eyes of their former pets. Most of the time, they run away. But we believe that the innocent gaze of the condemned will never leave them... Seeing the tragic fate of animals in the Vilnius animal shelter, we are implementing the "life wagons" project, aiming not only to extend the search for new owners for the animals sentenced to death, but also to educate the public, create traditions of respect for animals and the environment. Homeless animals reside temporarily in these "life wagons" until they find new homes. The support gathered through [link="https://www.aukok.lt/Projektai/Gyvybes-vagoneliai-paskutine-pasmerktu-gyvuneliu-viltis"]aukok.lt[/link] will be used only for veterinary care and feeding of the animals. In total, it is planned to treat, sterilize/neuter, vaccinate, and find homes for about 300 animals that often get sick in the shelter. Your donation of 5 euros will feed a small puppy for a week, 80 euros will sterilize an adult cat, and 100 euros will treat a sick animal.
