Owner John Henry hinted that a long-term contract will likely be offered to interim manager Kenny Dalglish.

The club legend replaced the sacked Roy Hodgson last month and agreed to work until the end of the season. He helped the team rise to seventh place in the English Championship and win the last three matches without conceding a goal.

"It's too early to talk about it, but we were very lucky - there couldn't have been a better choice than Dalglish," said the American. "I know Kenny has wanted this job for a long time, so the club was lucky to finally get him."

Henry also stated that most likely a new stadium will not be built. Instead, the old "Anfield" will be renovated and expanded.

"The Kop stand has no competitors. The atmosphere is amazing, the stadium is beautiful both without spectators and with them, so it would be difficult to transfer all of this to a new arena," Henry said.
