Alex Ferguson set a goal for his team to win 84 points in the English championship.
Manchester's team triumphed three times in a row in the national championships, but last season they relinquished the title to the "Chelsea" club from London.
Ferguson hopes that his players, who have not lost in 29 consecutive matches with 84 points, will once again become the strongest in the country.
"If we win another 30 points, we can become champions. Whether we win at home or away, the essence is points," Ferguson said.
"I believe that 84 points would be enough for the title. I am almost certain, so we need another 30 points. Stability is a guarantee of success, and in the last two months we have managed to maintain it. The players trust each other, and that is very important."
"Man Utd" leads the championship with 54 points. The club outperforms the London "Arsenal" team in second place by 5 points.
