An unbelievable drama unfolded in the duel between "Newcastle" and London's "Arsenal", where it seemed like the guests, who had accumulated a four-goal lead after the first half, would easily add three points to their tally in the tournament standings.
Everything changed in the second half of the match - first, 'Gunners' midfielder Abou Diaby, unable to control his nerves, was sent off the field, then the hosts, having gained momentum, scored four goals unanswered and leveled the score.
It is worth mentioning that this was the first time in Premier League history that a team managed to erase a four-goal deficit.
Niko Kranjčar's precise strike in added time ensured a victory for London's "Tottenham" against "Bolton," while Carlos Tevez's hat-trick secured a triumph for "Man City" in the match against "W.B.A." players.
It is noteworthy that during the seven Saturday matches of the English championship, a total of 41 goals were scored, setting a new record for a single day's goal scoring in the league.
