Strategist Kenny Dalglish didn't rush to celebrate after his charges' victory in the English championship match away to London's Chelsea.
The 'Reds' secured their fourth consecutive win, defeating the capital's team thanks to Raul Meireles' goal and rising to sixth place in the league table.
The legendary club forward Dalglish took over coaching duties right after the new year - at that time, Liverpool trailed teams in the relegation zone by just four points, but now they are six points behind fourth place, guaranteeing a spot in the Champions League.
"The top four is closer than ever before, but we need to focus on each upcoming match," said the specialist. "Tonight, the players were fantastic and determined to win. We are very happy.
"We came here for three points, and we earned them. It doesn't matter who the opponent is or what players they have. I only care about those who wear the red shirts."
And with a smile, he added: "In January, we signed two fantastic players - Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll. But they still need to break into the main team! Seeing how the men fought tonight, it won't be easy!"
