FIFA President Sepp Blatter assured that the 2022 World Cup will not be moved to the winter season and, as usual, will take place in the summer.
It was mentioned that the tournament could potentially be held in January or February, as June and July in Qatar are often very hot.
"It has been decided that the championship will be held in the summer, and all 64 matches will take place in Qatar," Blatter said, adding that such changes are only possible upon request from the organizers.
