The football director Raul Sanllehi assures that in the near future the club does not plan to try to buy back London's defender Cesc Fabregas.

The Spanish champions have been trying to attract the 23-year-old football player for some time, who also wanted to return to his homeland. However, "Arsenal" refused to sell him.

It was said that "Barcelona" will try to continue negotiations in the summer, but Sanllehi insists that it is unlikely.

"Cesc is a great player, hailing from Catalonia. He represented us in childhood and will be very warmly welcomed at the Champions League match," said Sanllehi.

And added: "But as for the acquisition of Fabregas at the moment, everything is off."
