Goalkeeper Petr Cech saved an 11-meter penalty in the 93rd minute, securing a point for Chelsea in the London derby against Fulham - the match ended goalless 0-0.

In added time, David Luiz brought down Clint Dempsey in the penalty area, but the latter failed to convert the penalty given by the referee - the goalkeeper saved the poorly struck ball, and the subsequent acrobatic attempt by the American was very inaccurate.

In a sluggish match, Chelsea star Fernando Torres still couldn't find his form, and the Blues minimized their hopes of defending the English champions title.

Torres, who was acquired for a record sum of almost 59 million euros, appeared in the starting lineup, displacing the remaining Didier Drogba to the bench, but was substituted in the second half. Another Chelsea signing in the winter, David Luiz, looked much livelier, but even he couldn't avoid a mistake that could have led to a defeat.

After these drawn matches, Chelsea remains in fifth place with 45 points in the league table. They trail leader Man Utd by 12 points, and are behind fourth-placed Tottenham by 2 points.

Meanwhile, Fulham sits in 12th place with 31 points.
